Recipe corrections

If a timing looks off, an ingredient is wrong, or a step is unclear: please write. Corrections get fixed and the recipe gets a version bump (v1.0 to v1.1) with a note at the bottom of the recipe explaining the change. Reader corrections are credited unless you ask me not to.

Sourcing and methodology questions

Where a number came from, why I picked one cooking method over another, whether a substitution will work: ask. The methodology pages cover the calculators (cooking time methodology), but recipe-specific questions are best by email.

Partnership and brand inquiries

Brand pitches are read. Most are declined. The shortlist of what gets a yes:

  • Plant-based ingredients I would buy with my own money.
  • Kitchen tools I have already been using or am actively shopping for.
  • Sponsored content with full editorial control on my side and a clearly labeled disclosure.

Stock-photo product roundups, link insertions, and “guest post for backlink” requests are not entertained. The affiliate disclosure covers the standing rules.

Press and interviews

Yes, with a few weeks of lead time. Please include the publication, the angle, the deadline, and whether you need photos.

Recipe requests

Send them. I keep a list. If three readers ask for the same thing, it usually moves to the test queue.

What I do not answer

  • Diet advice, meal-plan-for-my-condition questions, or anything a registered dietitian should weigh in on. I cook. I do not credential medical advice.
  • Generic “guest post” or backlink-exchange pitches.
  • “Can you make my recipe vegan” requests for full retesting on a deadline.
