Terms of Use

This page sets out the terms on which VeganStove is published and read. It is plain by design: a page of legal text that cannot be understood is a page that has failed at its only job.

Ownership

Copyright in the vegan / plant-based recipes text and images stays with us. You are free to read, print and quote briefly with a link. Republication of a full page, translated or not, needs permission we have not given.

Fair use of the site

  • Personal reading, printing and linking need no permission.
  • Bulk or automated copying is not permitted, including collection for republication or for training a model that reproduces the text.
  • Passing our writing off as yours, in any language, is not permitted.
  • Interfering with the site’s operation or security is not permitted.

No guarantees of service

Nothing here comes with a service guarantee. Pages may be down, revised or removed. We correct and rewrite as we learn more, and an article you read last year may no longer say what it said.

How this fits with privacy

What the site does with data is a separate matter, set out in the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Those pages form part of the same understanding as this one.

Trademarks

Product names, brands and logos mentioned in articles belong to their owners. They appear because a reader needs to know which product is meant, and their use here implies no endorsement in either direction.

Not professional advice

This is a publication, not a consultation. What you read is researched and written in good faith, but it is general by nature and no substitute for someone assessing your own case.

What we can and cannot promise

Nothing goes up unchecked, and nothing published can be a guarantee for circumstances we have never seen. The figures are a reference point; the judgement on your own situation stays yours.

Comments

Anything you submit through a comment form stays your own work, and by submitting it you let us show it under the article. We delete what is abusive, irrelevant or promotional, and we do not debate the decision.

Limits

Our liability is limited as far as the law permits, and no further. Acting on general information published for a general audience carries a risk that stays with the reader, but statutory rights are untouched by that.

Sites we link to

We link to outside sites when they are worth reading. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they publish.

Commercial arrangements

How the site pays for itself, advertising and affiliate links, is set out in full on the affiliate disclosure page rather than summarised here.

Which law applies

These terms are read under the law of the United States and the state in which the site is operated. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Nothing here removes a right you hold under consumer law that cannot be waived.

What is covered

Taken with the privacy and cookie policies, this page is the complete set of terms. Correspondence does not modify it, and neither does anything published on a social account.

Changes

Revisions happen when our practice or the law changes. What you read here is what applies; there is no archived version competing with it, and no notification beyond this page.
